My two turned out horses are very happy in their big new field, however tomorrow the hunt is coming directly past.
The one will be fine, may tear round a bit, the other is wired for days after if he sees or hears them, won’t eat, stresses.
So their fencing is fairly low and I’ve just been told second horses is actually right there outside their field 😳
So, rather than try to track him down after he’s jumped out and gone off on a little jolly I’m going to box them home in the morning and stable him.

It’s now light til 6ish and they will be leaving boxes at this farm so lots will finish there.
What would be a safe bet to take them back?
Or I could keep them here and go back Sunday perhaps.

same for us tomorrow. Mine will have to be in by 10.30 and have to stay in till dark. How wonderful that they will have to be shut in for the only dry day. You are right Sunday looks grim.
I am so fed up of them.

Sunday. Or when all the boxes/trailers have gone. They’ll go right up until dark and sometimes then some.
I agree I’d not have them out at all especially as the weather looks good and they are potentially going to be out till dark

They came home beautifully and have been so settled.
Still here, I will take them back tomorrow but Zig has had a good groom, tail shampoos, feet scrubbed and disinfected, tucked up in bed with a big haynet, he’s a happy boy. Won’t be so happy at being bunged back out into the rain and wind tomorrow
The other one hates fuss but has had a rug free day, sun on his back and is very chilled
