Days we just cannot ride!!

Just want to know, how many of you just get days where before you even get on to school your horse you know you are not going to do a good job?? Today I went to the yard and before I even got on I knew we werent going to be our best, why is that? And then friday and saturday when I got on , I felt dead possitive and he went really nicely? Bizzare, can anyone explain and does this happen to all of us??
 
yes it happens to every one. one trick i have learnt with my mare is if i'm not feeling like i'm going to do a good job i'll give her a lunge for 20 mins in a pessoa or chambon so that she gets into an active working frame of mind. then when i get on its easier as she has had a wee tune up and i'm not battling with my riding and her...it might sound silly but it works for me.
 
When I had angel I used to get off and have cool down time as a 10year old, when she drove me to tears. With most of them im ok, I get on well, but my coloured riles me some days- I get off of him have a cig and a coffee, and I still end feeling deflated.
 
I wouldn't worry about it chick........I have one of those days every day

don't worry about it, i have regular days like that! bobby used to reduce me to tears on many occasion, if it wasnt all going well. I was made to get off the horse on several occasions, as i just wasn't 'with it'!!
 
yeah i have those days too.... sometimes i think if your in a cant be bothered mood, the horses sences that too and gives a cant be bothered response! (haha reading the spelling post earlier... is it senSes or SenCes?

Yep, I have those days too especially with Alisha at the moment, one day we will have a fantastic ride and the nect I just can't get the measure of her at all
