... not at the same time!

The organiser of the comp we may be doing is away so I can't check with them... but am worrying what we should practice.

Basically there are three riders, (owner, OH & me), and one horse.

OH will do an Intro test.
Owner will do a Prelim.

Would it be OK for me to enter either of those classes as well? Or should I try another prelim that is on on the same day?

Horse has evented/PC type things a long time ago but usually only competes SJ now so I'd really like to do the Intro (my first dressage comp too) but not sure if I'd be allowed?

Eek! So many qs!

Rescue remedy all round :-)

Most places would be very strict about the horse only competing in one class.
I think you would be safer to each enter a different class.
If the classes run different sections (e.g. restricted / open) then it might be worth asking the organiser if different riders could enter the different sections on the same horse, it is unlikely they will agree but worth a go.

Righty ho. We shall concentrate on OH's W&T test for now then. If I get brave I might try one of the prelims or perhaps just 'groom' for the day.

Thanks for your help... funny how much more 'scary' the idea of competing is compared to riding which is far more dangerous and I've been doing happily for years!
