Bounce! My horse was diagnosed with tears in each DDFT (foreleg) last August, since then he has been on around 7 months boxrest with the remainder of time out in the field. Whilst on boxrest I was complying with the 'controlled exercise' the vets advocated which nearly got us both killed - hence the field rest now. He was also on wedge shoes for all his BR. Farrier mentioned last shoeing that it was a shame I didnt chuck him in the field sooner, as he seems to be growing grand new horn and is a happier pony. Vet also commented on his heel growth when she came to float his teeth. Today the farrier god mentioned I should start riding him barehoof
yayyyyy
I wont, as I think I still want him to have a full term outside chilling, but he is going to come in for a month or too when the weather grubs up in the winter and I shall take him for walks in hand and perhaps check the saddle fit etc. Maybe pony him from the ginger one...
Very happy Pritt cant wait for pony Pritt so come back
Thanks for trawling through that xx
