MOST INCREDIBLE thing ever invented without strapping the horse down and works on a pully system so using it on my youngster atm, highly reccomended by all the qualified staff in ingatestone.
Just wondering as I stupidly forgot to ask, I know you can use this for everything but how often do you use it?
It's completely different to draw reins where it straps the head down and you're back to square one, it is showing the horse it is comfortable to keep his head, it doesn't force it's nose in or anything, but it gets allll the correct muscles for an outline working, STRONGLY reccommend instead of anything else that will strap your horses head down!!!
Anyway, how often to use the de gogue? I can't imagine it would teach the horse to rely on it, it will teach him to relax long and low really!

They are fab aren't they.

When I'm being extra mean I use raised poles to help get the hinds really stepping though and the tummy lifting.

I use mine once a week, only lunge once a week so use it pretty much every time.

They can be used for lunging or riding and can be used with or without the 'Y" attachment.

no reason why they can't be used more than once a week.

Mine didn't come with reins, but you can put the 'rope' thru the bit rings and connect to the rings on the 'Y' or remove the 'Y' and attach the clips to the bit rings

Really thick question, I have this also bought it from ingatestone I have only ever used it to lunge in and love it... But I was sold the reins with it the have rings on the end but im absolutely clueless to how you use it to ride in??? Pls help me,lol

They're brilliant, as soon as they went on my tb, he went like a different horse!
Basically I wills end you a picture of them and just copy it it is so easy to do once you've done it but quite tricky to explain!?
We did it with no instructions as none came through :/

If you've never put it on your pony/horse then start of quite loose and then gradually get tighter but not so he explodes hahaha!:)
Sorry I couldnt do it step by step for you but it's pretty straight forward :D

I agree they are brilliant and really encourage a long and low stretch, stretching the muscles accross the back. Only problem is my horse will regularly pop his foot through the rein - he goes so low on the lunge, but he doesn't panic, just waits to be untangled. More scary for me than him :)
