De Niro Boots- Opinions Please

Some of you may have read my thread on Brogini boots the other day

They sounded absolutely fabulous!

I then went onto the internet to see sizing etc and......

they dont do them long enough :(

the longest length is 0.5cm shorter than my ariat concord chaps which are way too short!

I went to try some De Niro....
I tried some of the S3312 (£290 ones) and they were an absolutely perfect fit on the calf however not the length

They only make that model in Standard Length which is 45.5cm and I need nearer on 50cm!!:eek:

I went onto the De Niro website and they had a £350 pair (model S2602) that they make in a..
34cm calf (im 33.5 but they dont do it)
extra extra height of 49.5cm

so I think I have found something that may fit!!!

even if it is about £150 over budget!! :eek:

although i cant get anything anywhere any cheaper in my size !!

so anyone got them and what are they like?
 
i have de niro boots and they are the nicest and comfiest boots i have ever had and i struggle getting boots as i have short leg to but wide calfs and the de niros fitted me like a glove!

I think I may have to get them!

I just wanted opinions to put my mind at ease that im not wasting lots of money if they dont last etc!
 
Have you looked at the Mark Todd Competition Field boot? I have the tall version in these and they are a generous fitting, much better than others i've tried. Realy smart boot, wear mine for sj, BD, showing at county level and they are brill. Best boots i've ever had, so comfy. Good value for money.

tried some mark todd on and they were absolutely massive around the calves!!

i could have fit two legs in haha!

its as i have size 7 feet too
 
I love love love my De Niros! I've got the tall ones (not the super tall lol, not that leggy!) and they fit perfectly. Didn't need any breaking in at all and the toe is a nice shape which makes my size 7s look a little bit more delicate than they actually are! Go for it, you can always eat beans on toast for a bit...
 
I've got some De Niro boots, they will make them to your exact measurements. I have long legs but not overly big calfs and I phoned my measurements through and I had to wait for them but they were perfect when they came. Ive got navy blue ones with red patent piping lol. Sound horrid but they are so lovely.
 
I have the brown de niros with the ostrich tops. They are amazing. I have tall slim legs and struggle to get boots but these fit very well. A little tight to start but the leather has softened beautifully and now fit like a second skin, still give fabulous support around the ankle tho. I use them almost daily and they are doing very well so I would defintely recommend!:)

I've seen a pair of those...I felt like I'd died and gone to heaven looking at them :o :D
 
I have the de niro gaiters and I love them, they made them exactly to my size, so I presume they would be able to do the same with the boots. Worth e-mailing them, they were very helpful when I enquired about having a patent top on mine. Also I dont supose you want to wait this long but if you go to HOYS and go to their stand try bartering (sp) with them, we did and got a few ££s off :)
