Yesterday I bought my first lovely pair of De Niro Boots - with Swarovski & Patent tops. However, they seem to be skin tight! The boots need to drop a bit (1-2 cm) and I have read on one of Kirsty + Java's boot threads to use boot risers. The leather is starting to give a bit more as I have been walking around the house.

My question is, will the patent tops eventually stretch a bit? I was thinking of sending them to a professional boot maker to have them widened by another couple of cm's, however, this will be a bit pointless if the patent top will never give!

They do :) Having said that mine seem to be tighter than when i bought them but i assume my legs are just fatter now lol!

Thanks Sassbebe, I will walk in the boots for the next 2 weeks and hopefully I will see a difference! I find the De Niro boots to be quite a small fit compared to other brands! Very lovely though :)

Walking around the house wont make any real difference, you need to ride in them to get them to stretch and ''mould'' correctly.

I have some patent konigs which are really tight, the only way to get them to ''relax'' is by riding in them.

Hi, If you return them to Brogini, they will stretch them for you free of charge.
