Baby oil, a bottle of it lasts forever and leaves a lovely shine too

If you're doing it to save money, the recommendation is to use furniture polish, such as Mister Sheen. I tried it and it didn't have the effect I wanted but others swear by it. Sorry, not sure about how to make your own.

Cant quite remember the quanties (sorry!) but i use baby oil and conditioner although i made the mistake of putting more conditioner in and well it comes out and bit stringy still works though.

Pig Oil. Fab!!

ditto pig oil. just mineral oil with no perfume (unlike baby oil) so less chance to irritate. always reccomend test patch though.

i wouldnt use furniture polish, the silicone will break the hair
