Dealer in Dorset Luckford Lake??

Just wondered if anyone has any experiences with them - good or bad... A friend is looking at a horse there tomorrow.

Any info appricated - she found the horse on HorseMart and they seem to advertise quite a few on there.

Probably not much help, but we nearly went to see one there - but bought the one we viewed en route. I found the lady nice to deal with, I spoke to her at length on the phone - she's Irish and was brought up in the area she buys in from, seemed to have a good knowledge of the people she's importing from - sounded like they have a 'type' they like and they're brought in having been broken and ridden/hunted a bit in Ireland first and schooled up by themselves in Dorset for sale. I felt happy the pony would have been as described and worth a 2 1/2 hour trek from home as we were seeing one also in Dorset it made the trip worthwhile, just we loved the first one we saw and didn't want to go see the other.

If we're ever looking again it's certainly a dealer I'd consider looking at what they have, from previous threads there are a few I wouldn't!

Thanks Dubsie - my friend said she seemed very nice over the phone.

She is going with someone else and is very sensible so am hoping she will be ok!

I used to live near Sinead. I would definitely go and visit, usually has some good horses which are normally irish bred, good prices. I know a few people who have bought from her and all have worked out well.

I went to see one there years ago, didnt buy it but seemed nice enough people and horses.

I would agree, I like Sinead a lot.

As with any dealer though, keep your eyes and ears open!
