Hi - luckily there have been some great messages on here about who to be careful of, but can anyone recommend a good dealer in SE? Looking for a safe, weight carrier but no younger than 7. Have been to clip clop traders and Emma was great but nothing suitable at the moment, and off to Pulborough Equestrian Centre this weeked - but would be grateful for any suggestions?
Many thanks

I bought mine in Dec '08 from Emma at Clip Clop Traders. She (as I am sure she told you) gets new horses in all the time. She was pretty honest about him - his bad as well as good and I think I would go back to her. Good Luck - it is all a nightmare isn't it

Have just looked on Pulborough website and I very much like 16.2hh 7yrs old Irish Draught on the For Sale Page. Will you be looking at him?

Thanks both - yes I am keeping an eye on clip clop traders website, went to see Hamish who is lovely but had a sand crack - and I was still sorely tempted but our farrier is conservative!
Yes will be looking at the 16.2, but I am only 5ft 6 so would be happier with 15.2 - I think I am looking at 3 there. I am lucky to have a friend with her head screwed on to stop me making rash decisions too!

Ooh, if you have the time, would you let me know your thoughts on Pulborough once you have been - thank you.

I know one I wouldn't recommend. I took a dealer to court for not honouring her warranty and won the case. She has not complied with the court order. Pm me for more details if you want to avoid! I have been contacted by many others who have had problems with her.

It's none of the dealers who have been mentioned so far.
