Hi, currently searching for the perfect horse for my mum. Shes after a confidence giver as she hasnt ridden in a while. It will have to be good in traffic as where she lives its quite busy, something over 15hh and between 6 - 12. Pref a cobby type, no TBs - something with a bit of bone that is okay to live out year round with a shelter and 2 horses for company!
something located in the north west or west mids area

I have found this one, but a little dubious about dealers.......
What do you think?

Looks more like a TB than an ID cross.

In fact closely resembles the TB they had advertised in August and there is no mention of traffic?

I think he is worth a look..... you can make up your mind when you get there!
Make sure you check his passport carefully.
In my limited experience horses from dealers seem to be alot cheaper than from a private sale, so they seem a good buy.
Ask lots of questions although if the dealer hasn't had him for long you may not get very informative answers so I understand your hesitation...
Is your mum confident with big horses? There is a big difference between 15hh and 16.2! Good luck

The horse in the picture could be ID X. The term covers quite a variety of builds! Looks like a horse who is well worth a look. Take a friend with you, check passport and have a full 5 stage vetting if you decide to buy. I've bought some wonderful horses from dealers over the years so don't let being a dealer put you off.

Yep, she does have a 15.3 clydsdale x but he wont go out alone. She currently has an instructer who is teaching him and her parelli, its a very slow process, there just doing lots of ground work with him. She just wants something that she can tack up and go out on. Her other mare is 33yrs now, she had her from a 15 yr old and rode her up till she was 25. Shes now retired and enjoying the last of her days
