Can anyone recommend any dealers/ horses for sale in the north east.Having trouble finding anything suitable despite looking on horsemart, preloved, adtrader, horse and hound, new rider. My budget is around £2.5k, about 16hh and im looking for something that jumps well, preferably a cross bred (not a tb- the yard im on isnt really suitable to keep a tb on and the ones I have known are pretty hard work- keep breaking down, poor doers in winter, complicated issues- no offence tb lovers!) Are there any dealers to go to/ avoid in the North East specifically the county durham area? Thanks

Yes not sure I could stretch my budget to one of them, although they all look lovely on the above mentioned website!

She generally has more in than she advertises on the website I think? May be worth a ring to see what she's got and be honest about what you want and your budget?

I'm in Durham and I got mine from a dealer near Gateshead. The whole set up seemed a bit dodgy, but the horse I got out of it is an absolute angel, cost me £2000.

I can pm you name, or I'd say just have a look in the yellow paper (adtrader).

Hi
I second Highfield stables. I brought Fany from them. She was honest and up front. She had a gorg. Trakenher when I brought Fany about 6 weeks ago.

They will deliver for the diesel money, I know they deliver over your way because they did a delivery that way before delivering Fany.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried Gareth Watchman? he has very nices horses and a variety of tpyes and budget. He is Lakeside Stables (Durham). He hunts and a professional showjumper.
I would beware of the dealer in yorkshire.
