Morning. I have a lovely 14.2 mare for sale. I bought her last October and rode her 3 times but unfortunately fell ill and have since been in hospital for 5 months with anorexia. She has been ridden a handful of times over the winter so is very much sold 'from the field' though my daughter (who lives 2 hours away) rode her last night and she was calm under saddle walking round the paddock. Apart from that she has no jockey and I have been told not to ride by the doctors.
I now very much need to sell her for health and financial issues but am finding the time wasters and rudeness that comes with selling very difficult, mentally. For example, I have said she is not in regular work but someone asked if I could put some jumps up! I go to the time and effort of sending out videos, cleaning tack etc etc and then people let me down at the last minute.
Does anyone know of an alternative way? I don't want to send her to some dodgy dealer to shift her on but does anyone know of anyone reputable in Bucks/Beds/Berks?
I would also loan but I worry that someone might just see her as a 'free horse' and not put in the gentle work she deserves.
