Someone i was trying to find a horse for went off and found a horse dealer on the internet. She thinks the dealer is wonderful, i am not saying otherwise as i don't him. Actually he must be an Angel to put up with her

He buys lorry loads from Ireland, Anyone know of him?
She bought one. It aparantly won at Dublin Show. It was thin when she saw it which she thought was good as it was going onto spring grass.

She was told it was used to being stabled and ridden in a menage. She bought it and turned it out in a herd in 250 acres!

She cannot do a thing with it.

Anyway the dealer is takeing the horse back and she is viewing a new lot he has just brought over from Ireland. She is going tommorrow and asked if i could go. I can't.
Does it sound like anyone you may know?
She doesn't listen!

There's two I can think of straight away: AR or EES. Personally I'd get her money back from either and stay well away. But that's just my opinion

I went to view some horses there a few years ago and was

I don't know what area. She is such an excitable person its hard to get sense out of her. She on the phone 3 hours without me saying a word! She is a lovely person though and can offer a very good home to the 'right' horse. Right for her is in the minority. She sold her cob against my advice.

Echo that! Especially the latter...

It was someone in Cheshire who had that grey horse for sale on Horsemart that looked so poor. That had come over from Ireland, could it be this chap. I think there were a few suspicions he was a dealer.

I was thinking of him actually when she mentioned the condition of some of the horses. How did i forget where he was from. He is a dealer Horsemart checked it out.
The horse she bought is not true to sale. She is going back tommorrow but i can't go with her. I am not saying it is a bad dealer or good, i just dread what she will come back with this time and trying to get any background on dealers in the area. Whoever it is they have their work cut out with her.

I have not said the dealer is bad - infact an Angel for dealing with her

I was trying to find the background on who it could be. She is very pleased with whoever it is and they have agreed to take the horse back and exchange it which is very good. I am worried as she will go for the nicest looking horse, not what is suitable for her. The dealer is helping best they can, but it realy is hard to get sense out of her. She is a lovely person and will give a horse a fantastic home, she is surrounded by help but does need a lot of help on chooseing one. I am also thinking of the dealer as she will constantly be back and forth without someone going with her that can put their foot down on which horse is actually right for her. Without knowing her well it is hard for people to know.

Thanks for your reply. Your friend wouldn't have bought an imported Irish horse from horse from us. Our horses are mainly sourced from private homes and breeders across the uk. There are other traders in the cheshire area that mostly sell imported Irish horses. I hope everything works out great for your friend in her search for a new horse.
kind regards
