Dealers in Yorkshire - Anyone Know These Ones?

Heard of them but don't know much about them good or bad I'm afraid. I wouldn't rule out a dealer because someones' had a bad experience though BUT I would only ever go to a dealer if I fully trusted my own judgement and knew what I was looking for. I think too many people buy from dealers as if it's a horse 'shop' and presume the horse will be 'exactly what it says on the tin and then blame the dealer when it turns out not to be when, in some cases it's more a case of the purchaser has not been honest about their capabilities! Personally I would always go and see/try a potential purchase 2 or 3 times before deciding if it as for me, dealer or no dealer.

LadyT - I agree with you 100% - well put.

I know 2 or three dealers in N Yorks who I would happily buy from, BUT if I didn't know what I was looking for/wasn't honest about my ability I could also end up with something totally unsuitable.

Yes, there ARE some dodgy dealers about (I don't know either way about lowfield I'm afraid) but a lot of the time, they only have the horses for a short while & they behave well because they are ridden well!

To the OP - if you think they have something you like - why not have a look - but take someone for a second opinion and go in with your eyes open.
