Dealing with Van conversion with dvla

Hi, I’m in the process of having a Renault master lwb 3.5t van converted into a horse box! Can anyone help me in regards of changing the logbook & if I need to send any additional evidence of the conversion to dvla.
Any help with information would be greatly appreciated as can’t find anything on the dvla site about it.

You don’t have to do anything. It will be described as Van (panel Van?) or similar. That’s what it should stay. I almost fell into that trap when I got mine, but research told me to leave it be. Mine is described as panel van.

I struggled to find any advice or get in touch with DVLA so I sent off my V5 with a covering letter asking for advice on updating the body type. I also needed the colour updating. I provided no evidence.

I received my new V5 a few weeks later with body type the same and colour updated.
