Personally I dont believe bludgeoning things to death is acceptable in any species in this day and age. Unless of course you have strangled it unconcious first and it is your culture......
Agreed Boss. To me, humans are more important than animals - but then I'm more than a little fond of quite a lot of humans (mostly my family) who are more important to me than any animal - including my pets who I love to bits.
Sorry if this upsets people but that's the way I am.
I agree with with maranita, i would much rather be around animals than people, i love my animals just as much if not more than my family, excluding my Grandma,, some people may not understand it but thats just the way it is, i'd be very happy with a caravan in a field no people in sight just my neds nd dogs,

No horse has ever deliberately done anything to harm me, nor has any animal.
But may I respectfully remind you of what hatred humans often show to each other? Like terrorism? Wars? Treachery? Lies + deceit? Some politicians? Animals don't stoop to our depths...
Back to topic now, + away from the (troll?) diversion, I hope, + back to sharing the horror + revulsion that most of us feel about this brutal human.

Troll diversion?
It's a statement I believe in. I think it's a sick, disgusting thing to do. BUT, he's a psycho, not right in the head and at least they have the chance to lock him up before he gets his hands on a person and does the same to them.
I adore my horses but I'm sorry, my family's lives are far more valuable.
As a side-note but along the same lines, I learnt to dive with someone who was the sound engineer for an interview with Brett Easton-Ellis (who wrote American Psycho amongst other things). They said it was the most terrifying experience of their life because they truly got the impression that had he not written the books, he would have done those things - scary thought. They politely requested not to be left in a room with him, and not to be scheduled to work on any further interviews with him.

While you are certainly entitled to your opinion, perhaps because many on this board love their horses, it may of been better to not say what you did? I find it rather callous and cold myself, and I do have family and a few close friends I love dearly too.
There is a special place in Hell for this oxygen thief...
