Decathlon/fouganza sizing help

Can anyone help me with the sizing of the breeches from decathlon?
I want to buy some but am confused as the what size to order. I am size 10 in normal clothes, size 40 in pikeur breeches and size 28 in Tagg breeches.

I can only do what you've done and tell you my comparison to normal sizes. I'm normally a size 14 on the bottom although sometimes I wear a 12 but they tend to be older trousers that I've had for a while. My Rhinegold jods are a 28 long and I do have a pair of Harry Hall 30s that only fit just after they've been washed - then they go baggy! My two pairs of Decathlon breeches and the pair of jods I have are all 'medium'. Hope this helps.

I'm 26 in jods and by decathlon ones say EUR 36. If that's any help.
