Im looking for a decent cremello stud. Looking at either a welsh D (15hh plus) or something bigger with a good performance record arab/tb/warmblood types (not to exceed 16.2hh)

Yes im looking to breed for colour but of corse conformation, performance record, temperamentall have to be correct also.

Ive only see one cremello welsh d of which was so over at the knee that I wouldnt even consider him.

There was a thread on here within the last couple of weeks inviting people to show us their cremello horses. There were a couple of stunning stallions on it. If you search cremello on here you should be able to find it :)

Will PM you link to my website. Roundhills Crystal King (in sig pic) is 61.92% Arab, 16 hands and, most definitely, better than 'decent'. :D Also available AI.

There's a coloured stud near Launceston (Devon side) got a good Cremmello, also do ai so distance no issue. Their name is westernway, http://www.westernwaystud.com/moonlight_venture.htm

Have seen ai demo with this guy. Lovely boy, did the job, got off the dummy then suddenly realised he had an audience! The shocked look on his face was a picture. Anyway, plenty of stock on the ground so you can see what he produces (photos on website).

I have met the guy that owns the stud & been there a few times. Nice guy (Steve), horses very well taken care of.

Burnock Unique stands at Bazaars Stud. He's nicely bred, grandson of Welton Crackerjack and has got some nice stock on the ground

Have you posted this in the breeding forum as you're more likely to get a decent response to your question. I've a mare in foal to McJonnas, due in April. I'm also interested in using a young PBA this year - no performance record but his name is Xiviers Sinatra - looks a nice type. If you do post in the breeding forum you'll probably be asked for details of your mare - breeding, conformation etc so that suggestions can be made which compliment your mare.

Just out of interest, why? I dont find them very attractive and I would be quite upset if I had a foal that was cremello. Would they not have problems in the summer with such a lack of pigment?

Another recommendation for Crown's Wonder Pearl at Brackenspa Stud. "Blonde Pony" throws beautiful offspring and is a great mix of colour, temperament AND performance.

How about this chap, saw him and a couple of his offspring at their sale last year and very nice they were!

My boss bred Pharo and his sibblings etc are all county show horses and very desirable apparently! I was shown this vid of him.

Moonshine Vision, Moonshine Romany Luck, Moonshine Mirriam, they all go back to the foundation mare Cornish Vision who was a super star in her day too.

To speak to other Moonshine owners try Arablines forum xx

Think there is a lovely range of suggestions & decent responses here even though it isn't the breeding board.

Hope you find a lad to suit your lady & have a lovely palamino foal.

Mine are both out of Vangelis, I don't know whether you can view my piccies but that might give you a rough Idea. I'm guessing your mare is Chestnut to throw Palomino foals?
