Decent day to day breeches

Any ideas on brands or anywhere that has a sale on.. am after some decent day to day breehces just for home but pref with suede seat (stops me sliding about so much in flat seated slippy CC saddle with no rolls when pony misbehaves!) - am failing miserably to find any that are 'nice' but don't cost the earth.. Can't really even find any on ebay!

the mark todd ones are good for everyday, mine lasted 3 years until i wore the leather seat out!

Not suede seat, but i have Mark Todd ones which are lovely and not very expensive. Mine have lasted years. I also have white ones which i compete in.

I like the mark todd ones with the suede knees aswell they wash up really nice and fit well too

i have mark todd for best and just toggs for everyday (with seat), both pairs are lovely

Oooh may have to try some MTs hadnt thought of those - am i right in saying the sizes come up quite small?

I have a nice pair of caldenes with a sticky seat (has little rubbery bits on it rather than suede). They are a lot more stretchy that suede seated breeches I think, and were only £50. Lovely thick cotton and v warm.

i wouldn't say sizing is small in MT - i have a 26 in them and all other jods and am a size 12 in jeans etc

Pikeur Jean breeches - yes they are £120 a pair, but they wash and last so well they are worth every penny

Yes all my breeches are mark todd (I get them reduced on the same stand at windosr and hickstead every year

) and I find they come up small. My jeans are all size 8 or 10 and my MT breeches are 28.
