Decent gloves?

It's that time again. Freezing fingers, soaking hands, cant feel the reins etc.

It's my birthday next week and everyone keeps telling me they're not going to buy for Josie this year (she's had enough spent on her 8.5k at the last count!!

my vets love me!) so I'm thinking of things I need for once.

Can anyone recommend some nice gloves? Not too thick so I cant do anything. I seem to stick my thumb nail through every 'cheaper' pairs I've had though.

My tack shop does so brandless ones that I buy EVERY WINTER. Nice blue fleece that matches my coat

and VERY WARM. Fake leather palms and fingers and little hooks at the bottom to hook them together and to my coat so I don't lose them. Only £4 but they always have holes by May but at that price I just re-buy and re-buy!
 
For riding I swear by Roekl. Lightweight but ever so warm. I can't praise them enough - and they last for ages too. They also do a tan through glove that I use in the summer to stop white hands, brown arms

Ah shall look at those. As for tan through gloves, thats just clever!!!

Me too!! I usually hate wearing gloves but i bought some of these and i forget i even have them on, so light but warm.
 
I've just been given a pair of Ariat gloves and they are great. I think they are called tek grip, but they are insulated and waterproof so fantastic for keeping your fingers warm and dry. I get really cold fingers that go white and bloodless if I'm not careful so they are a godsend for me!
