Decent winter boots-any1 know??

hey
im looking for some boots that are going to keep my feet warm in the winter and will last for quite a long time
i want them for yard work and riding
dont want to spend over £80
thinking about the Mark Todd Cook Tall boots?
not sure what they are like so if anyone knows then please let me know!!
also any comments on other boots that are recommended will be much appreciated!

Love my Cavalry Sport boots. They're SO cosy! Mine do rub a bit if I walk too far in them (on the heel where the zip is) however I have noticed their newer version has been changed so shouldnt rub anymore. They're only about £50 I think and totally waterproof.

My Ariats are now 2 years old and when worn with thermal socks are really warm and waterproof. I have also been hiking in them without a single blister! Highly recomended and worth every penny £90ish

Ariat Glaciers!!!!! I wear mine all year round and they are just the best... cheapest place to buy... http://www.shoeandboot.co.uk/equestrian-footwear.htm. Having gone through loads of differnt makes, I have found these the best, plus I can get them in my size (a rather small but wide 3). Only boots never to have needed wearing in and never had a blister with them.

Muck Boot Tyne, i live in mine during the winter & this is my 2nd year with mine & there still going strong.
I used to use Ariat's which i love but they where forever knackering out i was only getting 4-6 months out of a pair of Devon Pro's.

I am another Muck boot lover, but don't make the mistake i did and buy the non riding ones. I now have the riding ones, they keep you feet warm and dry. I am short and have very wide calves, but these fit brill. Here is a link to the riding ones.

I've got mark todd cook boots and they are the best things ever! I got mine in October and they have hardly been off my feet, I've even worn them to work with the sheep, they scrub up great, they are so toasty I only need one pair of thin socks and I have really poor circulation so that is really saying something! Good to ride in too.

I bought a pair of Derby House's Arizona (?) long boots as last year I had a pair of Mountain Horse Rimfrost Ice Riders and found they did'nt last.
The DH boots are so warm and comfy and best of all at the mo they are £39.95

I agree with nicnag. Definatley buy the Mark Todd Cook winter boots! They're excellent aslong as you don't have chunky calves cause they don't come in a wide fitting. You can get them for £57.99 from www.equestrianclearance.co.uk with postage and packaging at £6

i was thinking about the MH ones but thought they were a bit chunky and have heard that they don't last too long...true?
i think its going to have to be Mark Todd Cook's!
