Decided to throw in the towel :-(

You might decide to throw in the towel, but that is often harder to do than cracking on;)

I hope the little mare is going to be your horsey life saver! Good luck!

I feel your pain with this as, but if its in your blood then you will once again return to horses have a break from it all for a while, enjoy yourself not smelling of horses lol...Its a novelty.

I also lost my horse of a lifetime a couple yrs ago, finally felt ready to have another one, after 2yrs so I got Mr Toby on loan who is very sadly leaving me this weekend... after 6mths being with me, not due to me not enjoying it, my hubby's facing redundancy.

I also have horses in my blood, so will once again will have another after having this break.

Chin up.... and believe me there will be a horse out there for you just to hack about on honestly... I had that too and am giving him up :(

Big hugs as I know its really not easy...

Also like to add the dealer hasn't taken him back and offered a full refund, I've practically given him back:rolleyes:

I did wonder whether the dealer would give you full refund, but I'm not surprised. Even so, its better to sort it now rather than have the added strain of selling yourself. The wrong horse costs as much to keep as a good one.

I do hope the loan via your farrier turns out to be successful, there are too many horses and not enough decent owners, so losing you from the horseworld would be a shame.

Sorry to hear that you have lost your other two and it's not quite worked out with your recent horse, sometimes having horses causes us more upset and wonder why the hell we do it!

But keep your chin up, there will be a horse out there that will help to put all this behind you when your good and ready, good luck.
