Lost my horse last August and have sold most his bits and pieces. Kept tack, and a few rugs (silly really but things like his snuggly jimjams etc) Debating now whether to keep hold of his event saddle in the hope that IF I did get another (although at the moment this is very very unlikely and I dont really want one) It would fit. Or do I sell it?

If you go for the same type of horse again in the future there's a good chance your saddle would fit, maybe with a bit of reflocking by a saddle fitter.

If you store it indoors in the dry and warm it will keep for ever . . . just waiting for that special horse to come along lol !!

I would keep it and get it out and give a polish every now and again and cherish the memories !

Keep it and if it doesn't fit your new mount, then sell it. A good saddle always holds it's value.
