Decorating and dogs

How do you manage to paint and emulsion in an open plan house with dogs? Shut them out for the time it takes it all to dry,
send them to day care ? Do a tiny area at a time and block it off with furniture ? Am about to embark on a much needed session and not sure how to do it. Our very first dog curled up in a corner and we put a dust sheet over him !

Barricade the wall with furniture and never ever leave the paint tray on the lfloor unattended (from the bitter voice of experience!)

Carefully! I shut ours out now after an incident with a ladder, a dog, and an open pot of paint...

puppy panels - and barricade them in to an area that isn't being worked on.

I'd probably daycare... Less worry!!

And when you do see black dog hair in your perfect white paintwork leave till dry to pick off, it (usually) doesn't mark.
