Deefer and Cookie

Just thought I would share my fave pics from the last few weeks, We have just moved on to a Stud so my boys are overjoyed, having all this space and paddocks to run in. Until 3 weeks ago they had never even seen a horse, never mind behave round one, thats why I done the little vid!
Deefer is the GSD (7), Cookie the Springer.(4) (oh lots of Yearlings on there too!)

He is a very unusual red/black sable. Hes not a registered dog with dubious breeding, tried to find another like him but never have! I have pics where he is quite orange on the saddle!

What a shame you don't know his breeding. That very dark sable is quite unusual, but sought after for correcting colour paling in GSDs. There were a couple of dogs that colour in the 80s who did a lot of winning, not sure if there are many about at the moment. I bet he attracts a lot of attention, he is a lovely dog.
