Deflated Saddle Fitting Experience for a flat backed cob

I'm thinking of getting a ghost saddle for my Fell but theres so much choice of styles etc and I'm rubbish at decision making!
What size did you get for yours? I'm worried that I'll get the wrong size and it will be to long. Hopefully I'll be able to trial one before buying though just to make sure we're both happy.

I'm away fitting in Scotland hence not responding before as I'm flat out!

Ghost is a huge range, a hands on fitting is the best possible way to do it, otherwise put yourself in the hands of the nearest dealer and ask their advice.

At every hands on fitting I actually assess riders off horse first so we can work out what will stabilise their pelvis, on a saddle stand trying a few models and seat adaptations, but that's not the normal approach. The fit for the rider is just as important as for the horse :) and it means we then have fewer saddles to try on the horse.

AH are beautiful saddles, you'll be looking at used as they're a bit more than CM.

Happy to answer any technical questions on either.

I’ve just recently got a CM dressage saddle and it’s absolute perfect. Doesn’t move on my barrel of a part bred welsh, and fits me perfectly.
My AH saddle was just too wide for me and I was in pain riding in it, despite having had the seat built up. I sold it at huge loss as I’d had it made to measure.
I wish I’d got a CM to begin with.
