Lovely Northamptonshire again!

I've been looking forward to it for so long, i feel really flat now that it's all done. Really pleased for Tina, and Gina Miles too actually, that's been a great horse for her for a very long time, lovely to get a medal in the twilight of his career. Just so wish Mary had had a bit of luck at the right time, and the rest of Team GB really. can't get any enthusiasm up for watching the pure dressage.

someone give me a good kick in the pants!

I know what you mean - extra deflated having just got back from Hartpury as well! Feel like I want to go into hibernation!

We had a very bad weekend... don't want to go into details.
But watching these guys at the top of their career is inspiring and makes us want to go out there and enjoy our competing!
It was awesome and inspiring.... Loved it.
Just what we needed to get us feeling enthusiastic.

I feel deflated too. I am so gutted for Mary and Cavvy. However, I am really pleased for Tina and Henry, who is seriously talented and I hope they win something big next year.

It was good to get a full nights sleep last night and I have managed to catch up a bit on things that needed doing. A bit deflated now but will be up and running again on thursday when the dressage starts!

Yup really deflated - keep watching the highlights

Am super happy for Tina and the gorgeous Henry but am gutted for both Mary and the team tbh but hey that's horses isn't it?

I was deflated last night that the jumping wasn't on in the silly o'clock hours of the morning.....I'd got myself into quite a routine

The granfan has been deflated since Nico w/d. However, the excitement caught me up. Good for Tina. Congratulations to all the UK team for Bronze and their supporters.

I know nothing about Gina Miles. People write the she is a good person. A California gal age 32 and mother of two.

Odd isn't it that the Gold and Silver individual medals went to non-professionals!

What next? Sj sounds OK.

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Worked my self in to a state of collapse during the individual showjumping round - and just so delighted for Tina.

Not terribly interested in the show jumping - probably because I feel we have absolutely no chance of a medal. Although the dressage will be fun.

We live in a terraced cottage, no doubt my neighbours are breathing a sigh of relief that the shrieks & groans are over, no doubt as they are not horsey they wondered, perhaps with envy, what I was doing??

Yes, do feel deflated now its over, the sj final rounds were just to exciting, loved it all. Looking forward to the kur though.

Absolutely. Still, can get back into some sort of routine now!!

I think the coverage was super & managed to watch pretty much all of it. Though I still haven't been able to watch Lucinda's dressage test, so if there's a link anywhere, I'd love to see it.

I agree, such a shame for Mary, it would have been lovely for her to get an individual medal.

Apart from Team GB, the horse that stood out for me was Vittoria Panizzon's Rock Model, I'm loving that horse.

I've been loving the eventing! Have to say I understand you feeling a bit deflated as I had been looking at the countdown on the HH main page each time I log in and getting more and more excited, then it seems it all came and went very quickly!! Very pleased Hinrich won gold and Tina won Bronze and obviously pleased for team GB too - just wish there was more!! Will have to content myself with the dressage and jumping

I know what you mean - looking forward to watching the show jumping but it's not quite the same. I am really looking forward to Burghley and Blenheim now though

I know what you mean, and am little bit also. I guess like SF says, there is Burghley and Blenheim to look forward to now though
