Reading todays HandH, i see Defra are considering putting this nonsense "horse tax" up to £100- the £10 idea was bad enough! if this is the case, and so far Defra are not denying this, where will this leave the general public, many already struggling to keep their horses and ponies in tip top condition? more worryingly, where does it leave the welfare organisations who i'm sure are struggling to make ends meet, especially with the recession? anyway, i read on and find a little snippit aboutDefra(again!) being exposed by the CAfor spending £180,000 on re-vamping their web site as it looked too "brown" and "too agricultural"!!!! for gods sake, do they not represent agriculture!!!! what alot of hypocrites----
