Thinking about other post about signs of dehydration.
A friend got a horse from a dealer. He was fab when they tried him so was 5 stage vetted and they brought him, he was fine for a while when they got him home, but then started to rear and bolt. Have thousands of pounds spent trying to find a reason and it all came to nothing so they blood taken at the vetting was tested for sedatives etc. Nothing.
They didn't think he had any water when the visited him as she was thinking he was thirsty after riding him. Could the dealer be dehydrating the horses so they are quiet but so it doesn't show up on tests?
Sadly they have no prove.
