Anyone use one to make dog treats/food? If so, would appreciate recommendations on make/models suitable for catering for one, max two dogs - preferably, at a less than extortionate price!
I have inherited a youngster from a pet home that was fed raw and trained, as it is VERY food focussed, with dehydrated home made food. The dog, when out and about, does not currently see raw/cooked food as a reward but goes yampy for dehydrated. Is this because the flavour is intensified or what? I don't generally use food treats for my dogs but this one has currently gone six days without eating anything and does not carry an ounce of surplus weight whilst still in a developmental/growth period. It is early days for his new regime but want to be prepared in case all the old tricks fail.
Thank you.
