Still having a year or so out to have some R&R but vets very happy with her progress. Saw the equine reproductive vet also, pass as fit for breeding and all booked in :D

Indeed - shes all booked in, mare nomination form filled out and will be paying soon :) She's not in season yet, going to let her have one complete season then start trying. :)

Good news can you keep her ticking over with a little lunging or anything ?
Do you hope she can return to ridden work in the future ?
Is her current yard suitable for a mum and babe or will you have to find somewhere new ,
Sorry just being nosy.

Yep, she will be walked in hand 45 mins a day. Shes not going on the walker as if she starts to get uncomfortable we might not notice. Hopefully she can start to go back out once the weather clears a bit. She will return to ridden work in the future, but not till after the foal as i think dee could do with some dee time. Her current yard is fine for mare and foalie, but once weaned unless there are other foals on the yard i am hoping to send the foal off to a stud (dont know who yet!) to be turned away with their youngsters.

Oh how exciting! Eeeeek :D have you chosen the stallion yet? :D what about names have you chosen any names? are you planning on keeping the foalie or selling it? eeeek i'm excited for dee and foalie pictures! :D i'm so so happy for you! :D

The stallion is Amour G and foalie is for keeps :D Not naming as not in foal yet and wont get hopes up till 60 day scan - plus, might be blue or pink!
 
I would quite like a filly but would be happy with a colt :). Just a healthy foal :D.
It's been very nerve-wrecking leading up to this point. So pleased everything is ok :)

Delicia got extra big cuddles from the vet today, everyone loves her down there. :)

Great news indeed. I want my mare to have a colt as I've got a great name lined up. YO wasn't happy as she says it's bad luck to name them before their born :D

Luckily I keep mine at a stud so it's got to of been the least stressful covering / pegnancy ever - well from my point of view ;)

Good luck and hope Dee is up for it :o I couldn't watch, it didn't seem right. I just about managed to hold her for the teasing :)

I would LOVE a coloured it will either be coloured or black, either way im happy :)
 
Delicia is like a changed horse at the moment. Has a real softness about her face!
