Delicia's pingy hack :P

Thats it, i think delicia has become allergic to matchy matchy !

Today i tried out D's new grey eskadron over reach boots. She had some dead sheep ones but after i left them in her stable, she killed them . RIP dead sheepies.

So, i went shopping (not that i needed an excuse!)

I tried to get her to pose, but to no avail. After her triumphs at Grand Prix Prelim, she didnt rat emy iPhone as being worthy to take her picture

I have a show tomorrow so decided to go for a hack as preparation. I can school then and delicia is a lot softer. She is mega at the moment, but my word i have found another gear in her! !!!

Her trot is so rediculously powerful now, because i have managed to conntect the back engine with her forehand, she is up and through. An hour and a half we went hacking for, we pinged everywhere, a few snorts at squirals kamikarzing off nearmy wooded dino-rawrs and silly cyclists tail-gating dee's tail. . She wasnt bad, it was very spooky and dee is still getting used to cyclist, the majority of which have absolutely no horse sense. I have got used to yelling 'thank you!' when i am cut up, or cyclist dont thank me for letting them pass etc. *grumbles*

Anyway, dee is still in her snaffle, and i have detached the martingale attachment off the breastplate eek! Next is to get her into a happy mouth

Wish us luck tomorrow, i am going back to my old yard for the show, two prelims (HC as unaffilaited and wouldnt be fair on everyone else as ive competed to medium level) and one elementary.

You cant really see it in this pic but dee's neck is getting huge!

Glad her trot is so fab, I have been lurking the forum for a while and saw your posts about changing to a snaffle - I don't know the backstory to you/your mare but really glad things are going well.

What shade of Anky is that? It's very beautiful, and I want it for myself! (Well... for my horse).

Also, agree with you on the whole cyclist issue - what is it with them?! I found myself yelling "you're WELCOME!" to a few myself this morning! I find them a lot ruder than car drivers and pedestrians (who always want to chat!).

She had hind over reach boots on because at the moment when i ask her for the power she can step on her hind hooves. She has had a number of abesses in herwhite hoof, one so serious it required very drastic and innovatic care and a metal plate in her hoof for 3 months. I want to protect the integrety of her hoof wall by creating a barrier between the metal shoe on the other foot and her hoof.

Delicia is going so well, but the new gear is just , lets hope i can control or channel it for tomorrow, othewise its dee-burgers alroudn (JFTD will like that ).

Because i was going to do the prelims in the snaffle and ele int he double. She isnt ready for me to ask for lenghtened strides in her snaffle yet...but it was a disaster anyway because she bolted with me.
