my mormally chilled warmblood has turned into a nightmare took her out for a hack this morning and felt full of it even in walw. took a different route as it was windy to avoid a big tarpaulin flapping about and had to ride round the edge of a stubble field. she started tossing her head around and ended up bucking and plunging, i tried to keep her moving forward and we did 3 sides of the field in this manner at one point just plunging on the spot. i have no idea how i stayed on was quite pleased with myself as i am not the most confident rider and was concerned about being tanked off with or ditched. obviously she s not getting ridden as much and is in at night but have had her 3 years and out of character. she did something similar in feb last year when we met up with a group of riders and that blew her brain.ive also changed her hay as old supplier ran out new hay is grown fior horses mix of perrenial and rye,so not sure if this is problem or just a bad day any thoughts? feel a bit frustrated all mud mucking out dark and mad horse.

Mine's having a bit of a giddy atm. Their coats are starting to come out so hormones are a-changing. They are thinking of spring and it sends them daft. Have you anywhere to take the tickle out of his feet before going out?

Lively and untypical behaviour can rattle most people so don't get disheartened or start worrying this is the start of the end (of control)!
