Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone will be feeding Dengie's new complete as and when it comes out (I think it is already out actually)? I was thinking about swapping Fred onto Pure this winter but this seems (??) like a cheaper and similar option.

If anyone has tried it or is already on Healthy Tummy or Pure, what are your thoughts and do you feed it alongside a balancer as well?

Thanks in advance : )

do you mean pure feed feeds or do dengie do a dengie pure?

If you mean what's the difference between pure feed feeds and dengie healthy tummy then the answer is mostly alfalfa. You won't find alfalfa in pure feeds but it's the base for dengie's new feed. My mare can't tollerate alfalfa so I won't be feeding it!

As for a balancer that depends if you are feeding to manufactures recommended levels, if so then no you don't need one. If you are feeding half or less then yes you probably do still need a balancer.

i think i am going to give it a go. My horse is currently going through Grass sickness (week 12) and she wolfed down a sample of it yesterday - over her normal feed.

It has soya oil, alfalfa a, and alfalfa pellets in it. So i am just trying to find somewhere that stocks it!

It's not been released yet! The rep I spoke to said it should be in the shops in the next couple of weeks - the launch at Burghley was a bit too soon! We have some on order and the interest it is getting is amazing! People already pre - ordering.

I'm going to try it as spoke to dengie and it mite help my tb gain weight and be less grumpy. The local big saddlery has it in stock now but local feed merchants are getting it next week. Got sample and smells lovely

I feed mine Alfa-A anyway, plus Equus Health Gastro-Kalm and I think this works out cheaper than swapping to the healthy tummy so I am sticking with what I am doing - especially as it is working!
