i normally feed HiFi Lite to Linx over the winter & add NAF gen purpose supp & garlic & bran for colic prevention. so over the summer i have made the decision not to use bran in his feed so while im on the topic of change I've been thinking about changing him onto Good Doer.

also, would anyone recommend adding a small amount of speedi-beet in each feed to help digestion. a friend said that she did this??

what are your opinions of these products & which would be best for an 11y-o welsh sec D, clipped out & stabled over the winter whose turned out for 4hours each day & excercised 2/3 times during the week & hacked out or an hour lesson on Sat & Sun

Well I feed Good Doer to my 20 odd year old Welsh D X. He gets carrots too. He's not keen on just Hi Fi lite + carrots - I think it's the peppermint in the GD that he loves so much

This winter, he'll be on SB and mix too - he'll be out 24/7 though.

Good Doer is the lowest calorie one they do according to the Dengie chart, I feed Good Doer simply because it smells gorgeous and the horses love it but think that between the two, Good Doer and Hi fi Lite there isn't a phenomenal difference, its just about marketing and personal preference, choose which ever you prefer or check the Dengie website which is also very good.

Im feeding lite now to my two, in winter i feed good doer, its got more fibre in and therefore i finds it fills them up more feeding the same quantity, i give them lite in summer as lower sugar... dengie are very helpful if you email them xx

Hi Fi lite is not a complete feed whereas Good Doer is. If you feed Good Doer to the recommended amount, you would not need the vit & min supplement.
