I like the look of the mountain horse ones but does anyone have something better or some to avoid?

They have to be breeches and they can't really be more than about £70.

I can't think of anything else to have from OH apart from an inhand bridle which is insanely dull.

I am open to other present type things if anyone has a stonking idea though!

I have a pair of mountain horse denim breeches and they're excellent. Got them for Christmas along with a new in hand hat, muckboots, a lickit ball for the foal (which has lasted all of a week and I found it on the floor this morning detached from its rope!) and an in hand bridle, ooh and oh has bought me a pair of cabotswood country boots that I'm too scared to wear. Couldnt think of anything else I wanted so everyone bought me horsey stuff. Mam was going to buy me a towel bale! As you can guess I've allready got all my prezzies but I am still hoping for a pair of heated gloves!

I hate to admit it..... but I got some KP denim breeches in a sale, and I love them they are so comfy they are a stretch denim with a soft suede seat (its ok the KP logo on the pockets wears off quickly :P)

Can't recommend them as never tried them but derby house have got buy one get one free on their denim breeches....they are on my xmas list....may as well get two pairs if i can :D:p

You're spoilt! We are on a budget this year. Boo :(

I have mountain horse breeches for shows and I love them so glad these are nice too!

DH ones are really nice and as somebody said, they often have them on offer. I tried some on but didn't end up getting them as they didn't have my size.

Somebody at the yard wears HKM ones and they look really good on her.

What were the sizes like? MH are massive and I can wear a size smaller than usaul. Are Derby house normal or smaller. They have loads of offers on. Thanks illy89 for the heads up.

I tried the Derby House, they come up big and were baggy and horrible on me. My friend has Gersemi, they are on offer at the mo at Derby House, £77, she loves them.

I am quite fat so probably wouldn't be an issue for me. Tehe.

Thanks guys for all the amazing suggestions. I have about 10 tabs open now comparing them :D

Dublin ones were spot on when I tried them. I'm usually a 12 or a 14 on a fat day and the 12 fit fine (not on a fat day). And I agree this year I'm spolit, as we've been saving a whole year for a certain electricity company to sort out the correct bill(14 months worth), which eventually came last week, and they knocked money off so oh treated me! And the rest of the prezzies were from the whole family and in laws, and its only because i put my foot down this year and insisted that it was stuff I wanted, not the usual towel bales and electric nail files, and discusting blouses you would never wear lol!

Another vote for the Rugged Horse denim breeches. Got a pressie of a blue denim and black denim pair a few weeks ago. Loved the blue denim pair, wore them non-stop for a week & got load of compliments. V comfy & high waisted. However the balck pair, although in the same size, did not fit :o so I am going to swap them for the next size up. About £65-70 I think. :)

I usually do quite well at Xmas but my mothership and OH poured money into my trailer lessons for my bday in November so I am on a budget now. Fair enough I reckon.

And grr to energy companies. Last year after we moved in we called and set up an account but they forgot to bill us for six months so we had a £700 bill drop on to the mat. Lovely!
