Dentist in Chesterfield area!

Hi can anyone recommend a dentist that covers the Chesterfield area? I have never had one before and my pony is in need of a check up. He's quite nervous of strangers so I need someone with patience and who will be calm and sympathetic!
 
Martin Brookes. He is excellent,more qualifications than most,goes to America to teach there,is recommended by several vets and is sympathetic with the horses,not rough and ready. And he's always punctual& a nice bloke.07782 171820.
 
Think it's £55. He is busy,so be prepared to wait (tho if you've just got the one,he might have a gap-we book him months in advance to do 9 horses at a time) but definitely worth it-have known & heard of some shocking,'flyboy' dentists and he is not one of them.:)
 
Yup martin brookes. If pony needs no work doing at check up he doesn't usually charge us anything. He also does clinics at local vet practises on set days so if u have transport easier to get appointment. He has a website with details.
 
I use Paul Waudby. He's from North Yorkshire but he covers South Yorkshire so Chesterfield might be in his range. He was out yesterday to do all of my old lads and my little TB mare who, last year had her teeth done for the first time was a little bit anxious more or less fell asleep while he was doing her. My shetland had a bit of a strop but don't shetlands strop about anything and everything?

He charges £40 and well worth it.
