I've used Gary Lyons before (call, don't email!!) and Shane kitching for routine work- both lovely. I think (may be wrong) that Gary is a hand tools type of EDT whereas Shane uses power tools.
Can also recommend Sam Hole C/o Pool House equine clinic if you're considering a vet?
Positive experiences all round, all lovely reliable chaps. The pool house option would probably be the least friendly on your pocket though in my experience.
