I have the dentist coming out tomorrow to my mare, have a strong feeling the route of her problems is to do with her teeth, she had them done approx 6 months ago by the vet. She headshakes/lunges the reins when i ask for a contact, takes ages eating her feed, will only touch the soft fine hay and leaves the courser stuff and once more i felt a hell of a sharp edge on the outer edge of one of her cheek teeth
Poor girl, havent ridden her since i felt it (week ago) really hoping that after her teeth have been done she will be more comfortable eating/being ridden etc........
Last time she needed sedating and she was twitched.....the dentist said he didnt think he will need the vet there tomorrow she should be fine.........hes meant to be one of the best around here, fingers crossed she can be sorted without getting stressed!
