Would you refund a deposit if the buyer is now changing their mind as can't collect till a certain date, and due to circumstances my end Ive asked them to collect 2 days before?

There must be a way round that surely ? Do they still want the horse ?
yes they do, suddenly she can take him this weekend however shes wants another 100 off his price as shes gonna have him on full livery. its not worth the hassle for me, but it just is a bit cheeky

Meet in the middle and drop by 50 maybe? Annoying but if 2 days really is make or break it’s gotta be better to guarantee the sale than run the risk of struggling to sell before Christmas.

I don't know why it's the sellers problem that the buyer will have the horse on full livery. If the buyer really wants and cares for the horse, they wouldn't make a fuss over 100. If she has issues affording the horse now, I don't know how that'll work out for her in the long run, but there's a lot we don't know about the situation/the buyers situation. If I thought they were a good match and I really wanted to move the horse, I might just try to meet in the middle.

2 days isn't going to cost her £100 in full livery.. she is pushing her luck. If the deal truly is off if no discount then maybe offer £20 quid but I doubt it. You got to have more than £100 in your back pocket for emergencies when you buy a horse and if it's on full livery she can't be at the poverty line.
