I have been having radiotherapy for bone cancer on my pelvis (broken and very painful) for the last two weeks and the pain is slowly decreasing along with slightly increased mobility.
However I went to see a new consultant today and after taking more x rays he has declared that my pelvis is only holding by a 'thread' in one place. He is reluctant to operate due to type of cancer. Therefore he has said no riding as a gentle fall could cause me to bleed out (nice!). I really wanted to get on my new boy for a 5 min sit soon, but know I have to be sensible. Hopefully my chemo and radiotherapy will help my bone to heal a bit so it either makes surgery a possibility or strong enough by itself.
Looks like lots of cuddles and grooming and a really easy life for my boy for now!
Sorry to go on, but it's all a bit depressing
