DEPRESSING call today

im moving !!!! i hear ireland is nice!!

labour wise im being charged £200 which i didnt think was too bad.
the rest is all part costs depending on whether he can source one locally or if it has to come from MAN itself.
bummer.
thinking of cancelling crimbo!

OH takes pity on horsey people lol, he cuts charges for them, awww. Friend used to have a horse lorry ages ago and he replaced the starter, he did something else aswell. Only charged them for the parts.

He works with lorries and cars so its a huge godsend when you need things fixed

have you tries sourcing the parts yourself? He may well be a good friend but at the end of the day, its worth doing a little bit of research yourself

Ouch, poor you, if you was a little closer I would have a word with my dad, he owns a garage and would either help you or put you on to somebody who could help you and not charge you a great fortune. He's already help one forum member out.......... I agree in trying to source parts yourself........... What make of lorry is it............ Don't cancel christmas, you will need something to look forward to.............

i would use a trailer but ive only just convinced one of mine he likes the lorry!! getting him on a trailer would be a complete no go.

i have sourced a few places, but most parts are second hand which ive been told could be risky as i may have the whole expense again in a couple of years.
and it passed it plate really cheaply this year!

Doh - thats a nice cristmas present! Think on the positive side, at least the clutch and gearbox will not be something to worry about for the next 10 years or so! If its any consolation I received a massive festive vet bill today - merry christmas.
