Derby House are they going bust or something???

I used to order from them regularly 2 or 3 years ago and their service was fantastic, items used to arrive within a couple of days etc

I won't use them anymore after it took two months of constant phone calls to receive a pair of jod boots and a notification of there not being the tshirt I wanted...and then even longer to get my refund for the tshirt!

I ordered a very reduced pair of Ariat winter Bromonts from them which they had a special offer after someone put a heads-up thread on here. I managed to place the order before it was quickly ceased as think the offer was more popular than they expected so they oversold. I was contacted about a week later by them to say that they could offer me a refund or the same deal on the normal Bromonts which I did. They took ten days to two weeks to arrive but I was happy. Their customer service contacted me and I didn't have to chase them.

I would order from them again but not order anything that I need quickly from them after all the things that I have read on other threads about them. I would also make certain that I pay by credit card for the insurance aspect of it.

Word of mouth is spreading and unfortunately this will eventually kill their business.

I too have been waiting for some boots to arrive (kinpurnie St. Andrew) for about 3 months. They kept sending me emails saying "there's a delay from the supplier.... Blah blah... Your order is a priority...." And pushing expected delivery back by about 3 weeks every time. I eventually got them the beginning of this week but the leg length is so long, only a giant could fit them. Needless to say, I've sent them back. Haven't heard anything since though so when I'll get my money back I don't know.

Such a shame because their rugs are a great fit for my tb

Don't think I'll order again.

Ive had good and bad, ordered some MH boots that I never got, they sent me a £10 voucher to compensate that could only be used instore. Have had things arrive quickly though.
We went for a nosey about a month ago and I wont be going back, pretty much nothing in there! I used to love the old Derby House before it moved.

I've only ordered online from them once, took about 4 weeks for the order to get here.
I was more confused by the emails they kept sending me, one saying order complete, another saying ready for processing, then ready for dispatch.
Guess it's nice they were filling me in but I didn't care about the process, I just want confirmation of the order and then an email saying they've been posted!

I do like, DH, though. Quite often go to their store and the sales are generally very good. I've bought a double bridle worth £90 that was reduced to £20, the same with a snaffle bridle, headcollars for £3, set of bandages for £5... :)

ordered from them alot and never had a problem, never quite got what the point of paying extra for the quick delivery was as I always got my item within 2 days anyway! When I rang regarding an order got a refund straight away

I remember years and years ago they were brilliant. I'd not ordered since until about a month ago and had nothing but trouble really. My Mum ordered me a pair of Dubarry's from there for my 21st and I got them 2 weeks later due to the incompetence of the place. As she'd spent so much money she got emailed a £15 off voucher which she forwarded to me to use. I ordered a First Aid box, the code wasn't applicable to that needed a phone call and then I then had to phone a week later having not received a dispatch email so that took ages to actually arrive as well. Hassle, hassle, hassle!

Never had an issue, I placed an order month or so ago, phoned as i wanted to add a pair of over reach boots to the order. I ended up with my original order plus a duplicate of that order and over reach boots.

I phoned they said return the duplicate order and get proof of postage. I scanned proof of postage and got postage and order refunded within the day so very pleased with their service.

I don't mind waiting for my order as you wont get many turn out rugs for £15 (£12.50 if you use todays offer) and they suit my youngsters :)
