Derby House (bit of a rant!)

I ordered a bunch of stuff before Xmas including some expensive breeches. The order needed to be signed for so I had the delivery address as yard as there's always someone there. Lazy delivery driver left the package at the bottom of the drive so anyone could have nicked it and didn't bother to come up and get it signed for. Thankfully breeches arrived but order came in bits not one big order as I had made on line. A pair of gloves never did arrive I contacted DH who located some in their Glasgow shop, they never arrived either so have just got a refund!
Prob also DH own so many of the once independant saddlers that they all do the same stuff suppose cust service tends to go out the window the larger a company gets.
 
As soon as DH expanded the service became appaling.

Ive used them a few times since thinking maybe it was me having a run of bad luck but to be honest the staff are useless at product knowledge, things turn up weeks after you order them (usually in the wrong size) and thats if they are actually in stock and they expect you to pay to put right the errors.

I have given up with them totally now.
 
not much point ringing head office either, i had no end of trouble with them sending the wrong sixe/colour/brand of bridle, took several months to get the right one and i just found them unhelpful and incompetent. cost me a fortuce in postage i never got back too. i wont use them again
 
Yep, theyre rubbish. Shame because the Parbold shop used to be nice
