As the title really! I am tempted to buy some Derby House breeches as they have buy one get one free at the moment but are they any good and which ones do I go for?! There seem to be several styles that seem very similar so i'm a bit confused... do I just go for the cheapest that seem to fit the bill? I want full seat and not to fussy about colour as it will be for every day riding...
Any suggestions would be great before I take the plunge and treat myself!!

My friend has just bought a pair of black denim type ones, not sure what they are called but they are designed to look like jeans. I think the website says something which suggests they are a more 'relaxed' fit and they definately aren't a tight jod type fit, they are quite baggy - she has plenty of extra room around the legs so if you are looking for a normal tight fit these are ones to avoid.

Having said that they are a nice looking jod :)

I got a couple of pairs on that deal last year. I got some all weather ones and some jean type ones, can't remember the names of them! Very pleased though, good fit and do look like they'll last!

I bought a pair about 4 years ago and they're still going strong! I have the full seat ones, no idea what they're called but they're very traditional looking breeches. Love them, very comfy, wash very well, look smart and will definitely be buying a couple of new pairs when I have the money! (currently all money goes on horses of course!) Am wearing them in my siggy :D

I bought four pairs around October time on the buy one get one free, i have got the elizabeth, the elizabeth limited, the emma denim and then a full seat denim pair but i cant remember which ones. Absolutely love them all, they wash well, fit well and have so far lasted well.

I bought two pairs of their full seat jods in the summer when they closed my local store, down from £75 to about £25.

Fantastic jods, although I have to remember to hoick them up before I mount (I don't use stirrups, just fling leg over) as otherwise I can't lift my leg up high enough! Fab once mounted though and lovely and warm in winter, can be a bit hot in summer but then what do I expect riding in full seat jods!

I have two pairs of denim ones that were given to me last Christmas and I like them. They're both doing well and the fit is pretty good to considering they weren't terribly expensive :)

Oh I looked at the all weather ones, they're supposed to be wind proof etc? i just wondered if they breath or am I going to get v hot in them?!

I bought these for my daughter but they were an odd shape really. Waist fitted her fine, but legs were so tight she could barely bend her knee. So I returned them and got the next size, legs were still snug but not too bad, but waist was huge, so ended up returning them and getting a refund.

I've got a couple of pairs of the denim breeches & love them. Want to try & get some more soon, pennies allowing......

As much as I've had problems with Derby House :( I can't criticise their breeches. I carry my weight on my hips and thighs, but have a small waist. The ones I have fit me perfectly.

I take it was just my pairs that the knee patches became all 'bitty' and looked horrible after only a hand full of times :( ??

Bought a few pairs a few years ago and very pleased so bought some online BOGOF about 18 months ago (took 3 months to arrive ) and they are crap. Would of returned if not on offer as not worth £50. Used to go to the Olney shop but won't buy from them again.
