good bad or ugly?
(just quality of breeches - well aware of company rep;))
seriously need some new ones and they are on 2 for 1......

What is wrong with Derby House?

There are loads of things I could order on their but I seem to have a bad feeling about them, must be what I have seen on here!

Lol, I've just looked (I'm on their mailing list).

I was interested until I realised it was Derby House. I really can't be doing with the hassle :(

yeah i'm a bit like that..... but wedding a week tomrrow  and seriosuly broke so tempted!!! or i'l be riding in tescos tracky bums soon :o
love my pikeurs but it'll be a lottery win before i can afford another pair :o

I bought a pair of their denim full seat breeches a month or so ago and I really like them! They are actually more comfortable than the Pikeur denim breeches and are half the price. Impressed. I've had lots of compliments on them too and they are smart enough to wear to lessons. I wonder whether they will last as long as Pikeurs though?

in a nutshell....they have a bad rep for customer service and advertising things that they don't have in stock
but i'm desparate lol!

how do they come up size wise...? my pikeurs are 28" and just getting a bit baggy *insert insainely happy smilie ;)*

I got bored of DH quickly thanks to their shocking customer service and the poor quality of the products (their own brand rugs in this case). I think they have their reputation for a reason!

I am now a huge fan of Fast Tack Direct - usually just as cheap, fast delivery (items well packed), good quality and if there is an issue then they are extremely helpful. I have a pair of jods from there for £14.99 which are comfortable and nice looking. A few people have complimented me on them. :) You can become a VIP member for free and get money off all kinds of things!

These are what I have: http://www.fasttackdirect.co.uk/pro...s_with_Plain_Contoured_Seat_WITH_20_OFF_.html

And I think these look lovely! http://www.fasttackdirect.co.uk/pro...rs_beige_check_with_brown_contoured_seat.html

ETA: Just noticed that their breeches aren't so cheap but it's well worth checking the site sometimes. :)

thanks for tip :D i'll have a gander

Sizing is really funny on them - got one pair that are 30s and neat, another pair of 26s that fit lovely. I wouldn't buy them without trying on now (though they are pretty nice breeches it has to be said...). I went into the shop the other week and they literally didn't have a single size 28 or 30 in any colour except green in their own branch breeches, I've had this problem before with them as well so tread very carefully...

ah ok - thanks :)
back to tracky bums then for a bit lol!!! :o

Have just received that email as well. Clicked through to the first pair which I liked the look of and they only have them in a 24". I don't understand why they would bother to send out an email like that when they don't have full stock of everything. It can't be that they have sold that quickly as I literally clicked as soon as it appeared in my inbox.

I have some dark denim breeches with a full brown seat. Very comfy and very nice. I'd reccommend, and true to size. I've never had any problems.
