So I ordered some ownbrand boots at the beginning of the month, due in stock on the 20th May, email last week due in 27th may, email today due in 6th June!!!

Gggrrrr I want my boots.

Quote from email!!!

"We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused and we appreciate your patience in this matter.

We hope this meets with your requirements and hope you also will be pleased with your purchase once they arrive."

Annoying!!

I feel your pain, currently having a similar argument with Rideaway (not usual I know)
I ordered a bit due in on the 5th May......still waiting

See I think derby house do this a bit. It didn't matter too much when I ordered it as I was only looking for a share horse then, but I've found one now and I'm fed up with riding in my toggi country boots!!

TBH I don't know how Derby House still get business! Their customer service is terrible, people seem to always be complaining about how long they take to dispatch items. I ordered a set of reins from them, took months to arrive despite several emails and phone calls where I was fobbed off. I just don't order from them anymore, it's too annoying to deal with them!

Totally agree customer service is appalling. I waited 4 weeks for a refund of £160. I won't ever buy from them again .

Totally agree!! I ordered three items at the beginning of April, 2 of which were delivered last week (separately) and one I am still waiting for. I haven't even had an email from them! Its just a good job that I was desperate for anything I have ordered. I keep getting their mailing list emails and can be tempted but keep reminding myself that I'll have to wait ages. My friend ordered something that she needed for a show so she ordered it for next day delivery and it took 7 working days!! when she rang to complain they stated that it is next day from despatch, not from ordering.

Well I'm not ordering from them again either I don't think. I'll see what the boots are like and tbh I'm petrified they'll be too big and ill have to send them back and either exchange or refund. I'm so used to amazon super online shopping and joules great free returns that I thought it would be fine. I was wrong!!!!! At least I've had 2 emails. If I have any more I'm going to cancel the order I think.

I ordered a rug from them and the warehouse lost the order.

so I ordered a fly rug from them through amazon and it arrived with in 4 days! so if I ever want anything im going through amazon, was the same price as well!!

I think once I've got my boots and I'm happy with them I'll email them a link to this thread. I don't like fussing companies but its not doing them any favours is it?

7 or do years ago when I was in the midst of horse ownership they were good. Apparently not any more.

I bought a turnout rug for my old pony about 4 years ago and it turned up no problems. It had a piece of paper saying all of these rugs were coming with a free fleece. No free fleece so I phoned up, lady said it was a mistake and only the horse rugs (not pony) were getting the freebie. She stuck me a £10 voucher in the post.

Last summer, bf got fed up of me whinging about the holes in my jod boots and ordered me a pair of mountain horse boots (that I'd been oogling for years but never got round to buying). After a couple of weeks, when no boots had appeared, he investigated and was told that they were out of stock and would be so for a few more weeks! No mention of that until he enquired. He cancelled the order and got them from rideaway instead.

I'm in the same position. They've now been delayed a further week. Not impressed... if it wasn't for the price of the boots I wouldn't have bothered- doubt they're even going to fit when they arrive so will then have to deal with their awful customer service when sending them back :(

Won't be bothering again :)
