Yes I know its been done to death and yes I know I shouldnt have been tempted again but...

GGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

So furious!!
I bought one of their fly rugs 4 years ago and its been super, really been pleased with the quality and fit, saw they had a FB offer for them for £19.99- Bargain i thought!

Noted that when I ordered it delivery date 17th June fine need it for 26th June so that thought fingers x that will be sorted in time.

Call on Monday No stock- now delayed till 20th, ok slight wobble but upgraded to 24hr delivery as a gesture- thanks!
Call today- no delivery till end of next week!!!! And no 6'3" fly rugs of ANY make, or 6ft or 6'6"!!!!!!!!!

No word/no notification nothing!

Call to complain, oh no manager is available until AFTER 5pm when they then cannot ship anything???!!!!!

Am furious as I ordered this specially for my international trip next week (week away playing horseball in France :)) and now what am I left with??? NOTHING!!!!!

I was a super Derby House fan, and now I am bitterly dissapointed/furious AND WILL NEVER EVER USE AGAIN!!!!!

Sorry Rant over am just soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoyed right now!

I hjust phoned about my rug which i ordered on 14th June, was told rug delivery didnt come in yesterday for an unknown reason and that they will be in next Friday! :(

Annoying as I really needed it asap. I decided not to cancel my order (as rug is a good price) but told her if i didnt receive it promptly after the delivery date I would be phoning back!

But they still are happy to take payment at time of order.......I am still waiting for 2 rainsheets that were in the sale, and they have had my money for over a month.

Assuming I actually get the items ordered, I am NEVER using them again, and cannot see how they are still in business with practices that are verging on fraud.

Golden rule - only ever buy something from Derby House if you dont need it within the next 3-6 months!

Everything I've ordered from them since January this year has taken 4+ weeks to be delivered, I am almost certain now that they are not keeping ANY stock of any items in their warehouse so only when a customer orders something will they order it in, hence why it takes so long to get to the customer.

The worst one for me was something silly like spur straps that I'd ordered, would have liked them for a dressage competition but that was a daft idea, they took 2 months to arrive!

So I wont be using them again unless the item is ridiculously cheap and you dont 'need' it within the next few months, otherwise you will just be left angry and disappointed.

They don't even have stock in the shop so no chance in the warehouse. I wanted something from the shop and they told me it would be on the next delivery- in 2-3 weeks!

I have to say it is cheap item/cheap service. If they are sourcing the manufacture the other side of the world to keep prices low enough to attract us (yes, I'm a fan of cheap and cheerful too) I guess delivery glitches are going to be inevitable.

Can you have your money refunded in full and buy elsewhere?

I am shocked as I just had a knock on the door and there was a guy holding my stable rug I ordered. I ordered it on the 13th June so I guess I was really lucky. Don't think I'll chance it again seeing as so many people are having problems though. Maybe it's because I ordered a pony size!

That, I take a chance but never assume that it will arrive quickly or even that it really exists.

Except I ordered some winter boots the other day which once the website decided to work arrived within 5 days.

OP Fasttackdirect have got some good offers on fly rugs at the moment.

Hmmm Me thinks that whilst this is not technically fraud, it most certainly is mis-representation - which is covered by the Sale of Goods Act. (I think).

I also think that they are treading a very fine line here... Trouble is, it would appear that no-one is willing to take them to task on it and so they continue to get away with it.

I'm still waiting for my 4 day delivery clogs nearly 2 weeks later. I do think they are very close to obtaining funds by deception.
