Derby House Neck Covers

I recently purchased 2 neck covers for my T/O rugs. I went to put one on today only to discover it's really funny shape. I bought a large for my 17hh TB but it gapes open at the top. A medium would be too short (she has a long neck).

Is this typical?

Which neck cover would be best for a TB neck? She's more of a NH type than flat, think Denman not Sea the Stars!

My mare has a LW DH neck cover and it fits pretty much the same as the WB one my gelding has.

I got her a Large - she is a 16.2 ISH but a fit of a fatty.

I prefer the WB and her DH house one to the amigo hood which came with my rambo duo - far too tight and too short!

I have recently bought mine a snuggy hood each. Won't use them till next winter though.

The premier equine hoods look good with the fitted top.
